How to help

There are many ways to help. Volunteer or donate. Advocate.

There are many ways to help children and families involved in foster care!

Volunteer or donate

Be a mentor to a young person in care, or volunteer as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) or Guardian ad Litem. Or you can donate to organizations working to help children in foster care like FosterClub, Every Child Oregon, Comfort Cases, Foster Care to Success (scholarships), or the National Foster Parent Association.

Advocate for improved public policy

The CHAMPS campaign to improve foster parenting policies has created a Policy Playbook and related tools to encourage and assist policymakers in championing reform efforts to strengthen foster parenting in their communities. Share this information with policymakers or with the child welfare agency in your community or state.
